Open Question: why does the inside of my jaw hurt?
Every time i wake up for the past few months the left inside of my jaw will hurt…….basically cause my bottom back tooth was either pressing into it or because i was biting onto it………the bottom back tooth has been pressing onto it for a while that there’s an indentation on the inside of the jaw. I feel like the left inside of my jaw has too much skin on the inside if i try to close my mouth teeth to teeth , i can’t on the left side cause i would be biting a little bit of my jaw, does that make sense to anyone? i don’t remember always being like this. Some days i wake up and the pain will go away in a few mins , but some days i will wake up and it will last for hours. I sleep on my left side facing the right so that creates more pressure. Does anyone know a medical term for this? of course eventually i will go to a dentist but i would like to look this up. So far i feel im the only one with this problem. The only solution i can think of right now is maybe to put a cotton ball over that area when i sleep , but actually im afraid i will accidentally swallow it.
